We couldn't wait for Sherlock to come out on Instant. We purchased the HD. The Amazon Instant Video works well for us and we download all of our purchases. To be safe if our internet goes down. It looks perfect streaming or playing a download file.

Sherlock is one of our favorite series. We love Sherlock in every way but ONE, The Audio.

Episode 1 is perfect Video and audio.
Episodes 2 and 3 have poor audio.

The dialog is fine but the background audio and music is out of phase. It is very hard to listen to and is piercing most of the time. Much of it is painful.
It makes watching the 2nd and 3rd episodes too hard to watch. We have stopped watching them.

We notified Amazon and they said only if other people tell them they will request new files for these. I'm sorry to say that Amazon's Customer Service which is SUPERB, has no way to fix problems like this.

I have heard of other Amazon Instant movies which had perfect Video but the Audio made them unwatchable. This seems to be the case with Sherlock.

This is the HD version. We have not tried the non HD ones. The HD versions are so good looking. Really eye candy.

We hope they fix this soon.
